INCORPORATION

Dear Members

I'm pleased to inform you that, as planned, The Burley Golf Club Ltd began trading t1st November 2023 (with The Burley Golf Club ceasing to trade 31 October 2023).

A new Licence has today been granted to the new club for its use of the golf course on the same terms as contained in the previous Licence that expired 31 October 2023.

Further, the old club's freehold property comprising the clubhouse, ancillary building, facilities and rear car park was also transferred today to the new club.

The new club is therefore now operating as a Company Limited By Guarantee and the Management Committee has been replaced by the Board of Directors.  As far as you the members are concerned, the club will continue to function in much the same way as before and you will see little change.

This brings to a successful conclusion the Incorporation process.
