From the Picket Post junction on the A31 (look out for the Shell service stations on both sides of the road and the Little Chef) go south across the heath land following the signs to Burley. Proceed through the area of Burley Street towards the village of Burley itself, In the middle of the village bear left, go past the Queen’s Head hotel and then bear right and go up the hill. At the top of the hill, just past a school, there is an open area with a cricket pitch on the left. Immediately after the cricket pitch is the entry to Cott Lane which leads to the Golf Club. The clubhouse is located on the left after 200 yards where car paring is available.
At the Holmsley Tea Rooms exit, also signposted Brockenhurst and Burley, turn on to the Burley- Brockenhurst road and proceed north across the heath land. After about 1 mile, proceed across a cross-roads ( right of way) and the golf course becomes evident on both sides of the road.
After about ½ mile, the entrance to Cott Lane, which leads to the Golf Club, is on the right immediately after the 30mph sign.(sharpish turn).
The clubhouse is about 200 yards on the left where car parking is available.
The village of Burley is not on a main train line. The nearest railway stations are about 10 miles away at Brockenhurst and Christchurch; both of which are on the line from London Waterloo to Bournemouth and Weymouth. There are very limited bus links between these stations and Burley so that a taxi would be the preferred form of transport.
