Visitor Information

Visitors are always assured of a warm welcome at Burley Golf Club, in the heart of the New Forest National Park.  There is an abundance of wildlife and splendid views to enjoy whilst playing the course.  As Burley is a 9 hole course, it is advisable to check availability with the Secretary’s office.  When arriving at Burley, visitors must register with the Administration Office before play to obtain the green fee ticket. Play is from the Yellow tees for gentlemen and Black tees for Ladies.

 

There are changing rooms in the Clubhouse and there are local rules on dress code and handicap certificates to ensyre your visit runs smoothly.

 

After playing, visitors are welcome to enjoy the bar and catering facilities in the Clubhouse.

Dress Code

A minimum of smart casual dress or clean golfing clothes, is requires in all areas of the clubhouse at all times. Smart or casual shoes are required. Please click "more" for further information.

Handicap Certificates

Handicap Certificates

Whilst handicap certificates are preferred they are not essential. We do ask that all our visitors are members of a golf club or society, or at the very least have knowledge of the rules and etiquette of the game. This is not a course for beginners.
